About the Sculptor

Blake Ketchum has been sculpting portraits since she was 12 years old. Her portrait sculpture has been commissioned by Yale, Cornell, Case-Western Reserve Universities, and numerous private clients. She has sculpted portrait busts as small as 3 inches tall and as large as 6 feet tall.

She completed her B.F.A. at The University of Michigan with an emphasis in portrait sculpture. She has a M.S. From Michigan Tech and a Ph.D. from Washington State University. The combination of Fine Art and Science training gives her portrait busts formal strength and structure yet reveals personalities that are sensitive and individual.
